ENTEC Evotec enters the hydrogen market!

The Entec company Evotec has been chosen as a partner and supplier of handling systems for land-based hydrogen stations for the maritime sector.

The Entec company Evotec has signed a cooperation agreement with the hydrogen company HYON.

HYON is based in Oslo, as well as a branch office with a technical department and personnel in Ulsteinvik. The agreement covers study, design and delivery where ENTEC Evotec is responsible for one of the five subsystems. All the subsystems are closely linked and ENTEC Evotec will work as one integrated team with HYON and the other participants.

The ambition of this agreement is to develop a fully functional hydrogen fuel system that satisfies all necessary quality standards and requirements that can be industrialized, brought to market and become the preferred solution for land-based hydrogen fuel stations in the maritime sector. HYON will be the owner of the Hydrogen Fueling System, and ENTEC Evotec will be a technology supplier to HYON linked to the Sub-System.

With this contract, ENTEC Evotec is entering a new and exciting market area, we look forward to embarking on this study. Delivery of the equipment is planned for 2024/2025. We see this as an important contribution to the green shift.
